Product Handling
Documented, precision handling at every stage — from goods-in inspection through controlled storage to final dispatch — so every product reaches your laboratory anywhere in the world with its purity and integrity fully intact.
Handling Philosophy
At Research Chemicals China, handling is engineered into our workflow — not bolted on at the end. Our chain of custody begins the moment a consignment reaches our facility and does not end until the parcel is signed for in your laboratory. Research chemicals are inherently delicate, and a small lapse in handling can undo an otherwise flawless synthesis.
Every procedure on this page exists to protect materials from contamination, moisture, heat, and mechanical damage at every touchpoint — climate-managed storage, sealed inner barriers, and containment appropriate to the risk profile of each compound.
Set out below are the standards we work to: goods-in checks, quarantine and release, storage conditions, picking and packing, and dispatch — written plainly so you know exactly how your order is treated before it ever leaves us for the Americas, Europe, Asia, Australia, or Africa.
Handling Procedures
Every product that moves through our facility is handled according to written procedures designed to protect its identity, purity, and stability — from arrival to dispatch.
Goods-In & Inspection
Arriving consignments are verified against the purchase order, outer packaging is inspected for breach, and materials are examined visually. Any discrepancy is held and queried before acceptance.
Quarantine & Release
Accepted stock is held in a segregated quarantine area until analytical results are reviewed and approved. No material enters sellable inventory before this release step is complete.
Climate-Managed Storage
Storage conditions are matched to each compound. Ambient, cool, and refrigerated zones are continuously monitored, with dedicated units for materials requiring cold-chain conditions.
Picking & Fulfilment
Orders draw stock from nominated batches using real-time inventory data. Orders confirmed before our daily cut-off are picked, checked, and released for dispatch the same working day.
Packing & Dispatch
Each order is packed according to the material's requirements: moisture barriers, tamper-evident closures, and secondary containment where needed. Outer cartons remain plain and discreet.
Retention & Traceability
Retention samples are kept for every batch, and each handling step is logged — providing an audit trail you can reference in publications, regulatory submissions, or internal reviews.
The Handling Process
Our handling route follows a structured, quality-led workflow from the moment material arrives to the moment it leaves for your laboratory. Each stage is recorded and carried out by trained staff who understand why careful handling matters.
Receiving
Paperwork verification, packaging integrity check and visual examination. Any discrepancy is closed out before the batch is accepted.
Quarantine
Material is segregated pending analytical assessment. Only tested and released batches progress into available inventory.
Storage
Climate-managed storage under continuous monitoring, with FIFO rotation to keep stock moving and inventory current.
Fulfilment
Live inventory allocation, same-day dispatch before the daily cut-off, and packing chosen to suit each material.
Documented handling
Every stage of the process is recorded, from goods-in through to dispatch. This documentation underpins full traceability and gives you the confidence that your material was handled properly at every step — no matter where in the world you are.
Storage Conditions
Correct storage is fundamental to keeping research chemicals fit for purpose. Different compounds require different environments, and our facility is configured to cover that full range — rather than forcing everything into a single condition.
Climate-managed areas. Temperature-controlled zones are logged continuously, ensuring heat-sensitive materials remain within their specified range. Alerts are triggered if any reading drifts.
Cold storage. Compounds unstable at room temperature are held in dedicated refrigerated units with independent monitoring — keeping the cold chain unbroken from intake to pack-out.
Moisture-sensitive material. Hygroscopic and moisture-labile compounds are stored and packed with barrier protection, minimising exposure during picking and providing an additional defence during transit.
FIFO rotation. We operate on a first-in, first-out basis, so older batches are issued before newer ones — ensuring nothing lingers on the shelf longer than necessary
Temperature Monitoring
Storage conditions logged continuously, around the clock.
Cold Storage
Dedicated refrigeration for temperature-sensitive compounds.
Moisture Protection
Barrier packaging for hygroscopic and moisture-labile material.
FIFO Rotation
First-in, first-out issuing keeps stock current.
Packaging Standards
Packaging is easy to overlook and difficult to get right. A compound can assay perfectly and still be worthless if it arrives crushed, damp, or compromised because the packaging was not matched to the material. Our packaging policy answers to three aims: protection, discretion, and compliance.
Our packing policy answers to three aims: protection, discretion and compliance.
Protection. Moisture barriers where compounds require them, tamper-evident closures on every container, and secondary containment for fragile or reactive materials. Temperature-sensitive items travel with thermal management appropriate to the destination and route.
Discretion. Orders ship in plain outer packaging. Nothing beyond required transport documentation appears on the outside — because procurement for research is nobody else’s business.
Compliance. Packing and labelling follow all applicable transport regulations. Commercial invoices and customs documentation are prepared accurately, and batch identification travels on inner packaging — ensuring traceability survives the entire international journey.
Tamper-Evident Seals
Every container closed and sealed for verifiable integrity.
Moisture Barriers
Inner packaging chosen to keep damp away from the material.
Plain Outer Packaging
Discreet cartons with no compound names on the outside.
Batch Labelling
Internal labels carry batch data for full traceability.
Handling you can rely on
From goods-in to global dispatch, every product is handled with the same care and the same rigorous documentation — so what arrives is exactly what you ordered, in the condition you expect, wherever in the world your laboratory is located.
